【Design Concept】
Perched atop the rolling hills of Los Angeles, Carla House commands a rarefied perspective where the urban silhouette of the city meets the enduring presence of the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory. Organized around a monumental central atrium that bridges two lateral wings, the three-tiered structure follows a precise vertical choreography: private sanctuaries above, communal living at the heart, and leisure pavilions anchored to the earth. Floor-to-ceiling glass portals dissolve the barrier between interior and horizon, allowing the topography of Los Angeles to become the ever-changing backdrop of daily life.
【Material Poetry】
The architectural language speaks in a vocabulary of textural restraint. Expansive white stucco volumes provide a crisp canvas against the Californian light, juxtaposed with the organic warmth of horizontal wood cladding that wraps the terraces. This tactile dialogue continues within, where veined marble surfaces flow seamlessly into open-plan living areas, complemented by sculptural linear lighting and the subtle gleam of bronze-finished fixtures. Outdoors, the infinity-edge pool appears to merge with the distant peaks, its slip-resistant stone decking glowing softly at dusk through integrated LED illumination—a study in how light interacts with surface.

Spanning 1858 square meters, this is a residence designed for both grand entertaining and intimate solitude. Seven en-suite bedrooms, a private cinema, and a wellness wing are orchestrated to ensure that every corner serves a purpose without compromising the visual poetry of the whole.
